Kris Allen: The Expeience

“Kris Allen, you’re the newest American Idol. what are you going to do next?” Well the answer was obviously going to Disney World which he did on Friday May 29. Amongst the crowds were Disney Cast Members who won a competition, as well as some dedicated fans who also got to be up close like my family did. The event began with a procession down Hollywood Boulevard and ended up at a stage set up in front of the American Idol Experience, after a short concert where he performed Heartless. After the concert he made a surprise visit to give advice to the contestants in The American Idol Experience, as well as announcing the winner.

The crowd was waiting to get in, not only was it a Friday but it was Extra Magic Hours and Star Wars Weekends so Kris Allen made it extra packed.

The main media checked in over there before being brought into the park.

They were shooting a promotional video with Kris and a hand full of his fans, possibly for the American Idol Experience.

They were handing out balloons to line the parade route

After checking out the recording they were doing I was approached and given a wristband to join a Cast Member group and get a closer look at the event, as well as priority seating for the first American Idol Experience show.

I was one of the lucky guests to get a wristband to get a closer look.
